the rotabench® 6P inverter is a universal frequency inverter for permanent magnet synchronous motors (“EC-Motors” and “BLDC”s) with low DC-Bus voltage and high phase currents. With max. 100 A RMS (continuos) and max. 60 VDC DC-Bus voltage its focus is on automotive electric motors or battery powered devices operated in a test bench or laboratory environment.
Features
- Field oriented Control
- PWM Base-Frequency: 20 to 40 kHz (in 5 kHz steps)
- PID-Loop Frequency: in sync with PWM base frequency
- Phase Currents: 100 ARMS (cont.), short time overload possible
- PID Autotuning, autom. Parameter identification, Gain Scheduling
- automatic motor parameter identification tool
- 8 channel, 16 Bit synchronous DAQ (Currents and Voltages), Sample Rate in Sync with the PWM base frequency
- Encoder-Input, Encoder Signal Conditioning, Encoder Power supply (optional) and Encoder Signal Duplication
rotabench® 6P is a combination of a frequency inverter and a measurement device. It contains all features a modern laboratory inverter should have, but also many features a measurement device like a power analyzer has. If the EPS add-on PCB is present, it has even test bench automation capabilities.
Software
rotabench® 6P comes with a Windows software, which is used to operate the device, and visualize the device status and measurement data. The connection between the device and the Client-Software is established via Ethernet.
